Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
Grace and peace to you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ!
I pray that this letter finds you in good health and high spirits, continually growing in faith and deepening your understanding of our Savior's teachings. We are writing to extend a heartfelt invitation to you to join us on a journey of faith and discovery as we embark on a pilgrimage to Greece to walk in the footsteps of the Apostle Paul and study Scripture amidst the rich tapestry of historical and geographical sites.
Why Kairos?
You might be wondering why we've chosen to call our trip "Kairos." Well, "Kairos" (ky-ruhs), is a Greek word that means "the opportune moment" or "God's appointed time." It signifies a time when God's divine purpose intersects with human history. Our journey to Greece is indeed a Kairos moment—a time when we can immerse ourselves in the history and culture of the early Christian church, walking where Paul walked and experiencing the very places where God's Word was lived out in remarkable ways. It's a unique opportunity for us to step into the Kairos moments of the past and be inspired by the Kairos moments in our lives today.
Why Greece?
Greece holds a special place in the history of Christianity as it was in this ancient land that the Apostle Paul embarked on his missionary journeys, spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ. Our trip to Greece is not merely a tourist excursion but an opportunity to connect with the roots of our faith. We will visit the very places where Paul preached, wrote letters to the early churches, and faced trials for the sake of Christ. By retracing his steps, we can gain a deeper understanding of the New Testament and the incredible sacrifices made by early Christians.
What to Expect
During our journey, we will visit significant biblical sites such as Athens, Corinth, Philippi, Thessaloniki, and many more. Our experienced guide, Costas Tsevas, will provide historical and biblical context, allowing us to delve into the Scriptures while standing on the very ground where Paul once stood. We will engage in group discussions, prayer, and worship, deepening our spiritual connection to the Word of God.
Our guide, Costas, has written a book, Greece: A Biblical Tour of Greek Historical Sites: 77 Insights into Ancient Greek Culture that Make the New Testament Come Alive. A copy will be mailed to all participants in February and we will be studying from this book and scripture preceding the trip, should you want to join us in that study.
How to Join

Closing Prayer
Heavenly Father, we thank You for the privilege of being called Your children and followers of Jesus Christ. We lift up this pilgrimage to Greece to walk in the footsteps of the Apostle Paul and study Your Word in its historical context. May this journey deepen our faith, strengthen our bonds of fellowship, and ignite a passion for sharing the gospel with others.
Lord, we ask for Your guidance and protection as we plan and embark on this trip. May Your presence be palpable in every step we take, every word we speak, and every Scripture we study. Bless each participant, and may this pilgrimage be a transformative experience that draws us closer to You and equips us for greater service in Your kingdom.
In the name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Redeemer, we pray. Amen.
We eagerly anticipate the blessings, growth, laughter, and Kairos moments that await us on this journey and hope to see you laughing with us as we explore the faith-filled path of the Apostle Paul.
Yours in Christ,
Cammie and Katherine
